Tuff Tread Fitness Treadmills are Preferred by Fire Departments Nationwide Here’s Why:
Durable, self-cleaning, self-lubricating features can withstand harsh, open-air environments, like fire truck bays. Our motors, electronics and belt/deck systems are not susceptible to damage from dust and dirt.
Unlike ALL other treadmill brands, our self cleaning under-hood compartment requires NO vacuuming or cleaning under the hood. Ever.
Unlike other treadmill brands, our deck and belt combination require NO lubrication. Ever.
All steel construction of frame, hood, foot runners, and display protects electronics and other components from damage from dropped dumbbells, and spilled sports-drinks. Everyone else uses plastic – once it’s cracked, dirt and dampness attacks the motors, power boards, and display panels.
RFT coating will not rust, scratch, chip, crack or fade like powder coating and plastic. RFT coating is the same material that’s used as bed-liner in fire trucks for its toughness.
700 lb user capacity means even the biggest firefighter can train in full gear without coming close to bogging down our machine.
HRT models include, at no extra charge, the two most widely used firefighter training protocols: Gerkin and WFI
Treadmill deck is constructed from plywood, not particle board like everyone else’s decks. Plywood withstands humidity, and won’t deteriorate when damp like particle board will.
Long life push buttons are water resistant and tested to over 1,000,000 cycles. They will outlast, by 10 times, the soft-touch overlays that everyone else uses, and they can be replaced individually if necessary. If a soft-touch button goes out, you must replace the whole overlay.
